“You are so enough, it’s unbelievable how enough you are.” It’s crazy how often this message shows up in our lives- are we enough for someone else to love us, for our boss to give us a promotion, or for our parents to be proud? Have we proven ourselves or achieved enough to be worthy? But what is it we are actually striving to be worthy of? Is it our parents hopes and dreams, society’s expectations, or the comparison game we play with our friends? Where did the standards we set for ourselves come from?
I encourage you to not only dig in and ask yourself these tough questions, but to question “at what cost?” Look I’m all for having high standards for ourselves and putting in 100% effort but at what point do those beliefs become self-sabotaging and when do you turn the tables and believe you are so unbelievably enough, just as you are!
